Congratulations, Kate Ellis MP.
The Adelaide MP and her radio-host and columnist husband David Penberthy have a new son.
Ms Ellis, the 37-year-old Shadow Minister for Education and Early Childhood, gave birth to a healthy baby boy- Samuel Christopher Ellis Penberthy.
David, 45, said last year that he’s glad that his flexible hours would allow him to be a hands-on dad.
“Kate was joking that she’s already got me trained at waking up in the middle of the night as a result of the radio job so I’m going to be well placed for early starts,’’ the 5AA breakfast radio host said.
New baby Sam joins the Ellis-Penberthy clan which also includes a brother and sister from David’s previous relationship.
Congratulations, Kate and David – we’re thrilled for you.
