In the latter half of 2014, celebrities led the charge as the Lob spread like wildfire across the globe. Rather than slowing down as we head into the new year, it looks like this hair trend is actually gaining traction – with yet another celeb joining Team Lob overnight.
The latest celebrity to chop off her famous locks is – you guessed it – Kate Bosworth.
Bosworth, 32, took to Instagram to debut her new ‘do, posting a pic with the caption, “New haircut today for my upcoming role in 90 Minutes in Heaven.”
The Blue Crush star, who usually sports long hair, has opted for a length that sits smack-bang between her chin and collar bones. She’s also given her platinum blonde strands a more honey-based hue. In the words of Zoe Foster Blake, it’s “shorter, darker, sharper.”
Bosworth credited her new look to Harry Josh, one of Hollywood’s most in demand stylists, who also counts Giselle, Sarah Jessica Parker, Gwyneth Paltrow and Rose Byrne amongst his clients.
Apparently, Kate didn't necessarily join team Team Lob of her own accord. Instead, she underwent the chop for her role in the upcoming movie, 90 Minutes in Heaven. Well, whether she was a willing participant or not, I think we can all agree she looks pretty damn good.
At this rate, 2015 is shaping up to be the Year of the Lob... again.
