Could it be? They’re… not so different after all?
Khloe Kardashian posted a family picture on her website, KhloewithaK.com.
Now, it’s not unusual to see the world’s most ubiquitous family hanging out together. Here they are pouting a fashion show. There they are pouting at a baby shower. Oh look, over there! It’s the Kardashians pouting with Karl Lagerfeld!
So, like I said, it’s not unusal for the Kardashian/Jenners to gather and pout en masse.
It is unusual, though, to capture a truly candid moment of this family. No selfies, no professionally applied make-up, and only one pout, as far as I can see.

Let’s examine it more closely, shall we? Why not, it’s the weekend.
The Kardashians are drinking Sprite from cans. Not spring water from the French Alps out of Waterford crystal.
They appear to be eating some kind of take-away food, which has the uniform beige of the deep-fryer about it. It’s probably actually made by their personal chef using virgin oil extracted from a nut that no one else has access to, but still.
And are those melamine plates they’re eating off? Good material, melamine.
Kim couldn’t help a modest duckface, but there’s a definite smile there. Kendall and Kylie Jenner appear make-up free and grinning. Caitlyn Jenner is holding her arms out like the proud parent she is.
The real kicker here, though, is Kanye West’s face. Look at that radiant smile! Have you ever seen America’s future president look that happy or relaxed?
Didn’t think so.
When they’re not endorsing products (themselves included) or making grand plans for world domination, the Kardashian/Jenners like to sit around, eat chicken and laugh together.
It’s the simple things, no?

Of course they're no different, they're just people who also happen to be famous. It doesn't make them any less human!
For all the criticism (and I'm VERY guilty) they appear to really love and look after each other, not just for show, which is what most families strive to do. So good on them!
