Ex-bodyguard lifts the lid on Kim and Kanye's marriage.

In news that will probably not surprise anyone, Kanye West‘s former bodyguard has come out with guns well and truly a-blazing in a critique of the polarising rapper.

Kanye’s ex-minder and former New York cop Steve Stanulis has given The Sun a brutal assessment of his time working for the self-proclaimed “greatest living artist”, calling Kanye “condescending” and “ten times worse than what you see”.

Stanulis told the paper that in two weeks working for the world-famous rapper, (yes, just two weeks), you would “never know what would trigger a meltdown” and that he was “the most condescending person [he had] ever met”.

Eventually, Stanulis was fired by the rapper after working for him for 14 days after Kanye saw his minder chatting to wife Kim Kardashian.

“I first met her in February at his design studio. I introduced myself and said I was working for her family, so she knew who I was. She was very nice,” he told The Sun.

“After a few moments one of Kanye’s assistants came over and told me not to talk to Kim or get too close to her. The order can only have come from him.”

It was only after another instance when Stanulis had run into Kardashian in a hotel hallway that Kanye put his foot down and Stanulis was told his services were no longer required.

Despite only being by Kanye’s side for a matter of weeks, Stanulis had enough stories to paint the picture of a man with the patience and maturity of someone who has been in the spotlight for a little too long.

Stanulis told of Kanye’s rule against his security entourage wearing anything but black because “patterns distract him” and the fact he was so pampered he refused to push his own buttons in the lift.

“On the first day we headed to his music studio. When we got into the elevator Kanye just stood there with his arms folded and said, ‘Aren’t you going to press the button?’”

Perhaps unsurprisingly, and in line with his desire for his security detail to wear black and fade into the background, Kanye also took aim at anyone that tried to get into his papparazzi shots.

“He got annoyed because I ‘got in his shot’ once when the paparazzi were taking pictures. He absolutely adores the attention,” Stanulis recalled.

Most interestingly is Stanulis' insight into the world's most sought-after couple, admitting he didn't understand how Kim stayed married to her husband and that he was "surprised" at how little time the duo spent together.

“It is his world and everyone just exists within it. I don’t know how Kim stays married to him.

“I was amazed by the amount of bizarre behaviour I saw in just two weeks. Imagine what must go on over a year.”
