"I don't like where this is going": Justin Timberlake shuts down Jackie O's X-rated remarks.

In case you’ve somehow avoided the television, radio or internet over the last 24 hours, let us share the happy news: Justin Timberlake is in the country.

Yes, the 35-year-old triple threat is currently in town promoting his new movie Trolls (trailer above), which is a fun, animated film aimed at children.

Yet during an interview with Jackie O of KIIS FM’s The Kyle and Jackie O Show this morningthe conversation somehow steered toward the topic of beaded vulvas.

Bit much? The father of one seemed to think so.

"I don't like where you're going with this." Image: KIIS.

The bizarre discussion was prompted by the blinged-out, crystal encrusted microphone KIIS used for the interview -  apparently "the fanciest" Justin had ever seen.

This is how it unfolded:

Jackie O: "We vajazzled it for you."

Justin T: "I feel it was already... did you say 'vajazzled'?"

Jackie O: "Yeah, well, mijazzled." [Because microphone.]

Justin T: "Yeah, let's go with mijazzled. I feel like that was a little..."

Jackie O: "That was a slip of the tongue, actually."

Justin T: "That's... again, I don't like where you're going with this. [Jackie O laughs in the background.] That's not... it's way too early for that."

For the fortunate few who missed the whole vajazzling thing, it was a trend that cropped up around 2010 in which women would stick small (usually fake) jewels to their freshly shaved genitals.

For decoration. Or something.

Thankfully, we've all moved on. As did Jackie O's interview.

The veteran radio host switched the conversation to how Trolls has inspired the theme for her daughter's upcoming birthday party - to which she extended him an invite.

"'I won't be available," JT responded diplomatically." I'm gonna go ahead and tell you I won't be available."

He was even unmoved by Jackie O's offer to pay for his flights, and play his music at the event. But Jackie O conceded that it probably wasn't the first such invite he's received.

"You would have a lot of people asking you things like that, no doubt? Is it just better to say up front, 'I'm not available'?" asked Jackie O.

"No. I don't. You're the first one to be so rude," he responded.

There was a pause, some awkward laughter from the radio host, then JT added, "No, I'm kidding. I'm kidding."

Phew, had us there for a second.

Keep an eye on Mamamia tomorrow for our interview with Justin Timberlake.

Honestly, I'm embarrassed for him. How unprofessional. We must be considered the dickheads from down-under by celebrities overseas. The stupid crap that radio and tv hosts go on with when interviewing people is just ridiculous. I understand that people want to have "fun" and "different" interviews but that was neither fun nor interesting. Seriously, I think we really need to lift our game.
