The city’s alive with the sound of Julie.
Well, not literally. But Sydney will be next year when the original Eliza Doolittle, Julie Andrews, heads to Australia‘s largest city to direct the 60th anniversary production of My Fair Lady.
The production will take place at the Sydney Opera House in August 2016. The actress, who starred in George Bernard Shaw's original Broadway show in 1956, will be casting in Sydney later this year.
"I am thrilled to have been asked to direct My Fair Lady at the Sydney Opera House in August 2016," Andrews said in a statement.
