Johanna Griggs may be 44, but by no means does she think she is “too young” to be a grandma.
Appearing on the Morning Show on Thursday morning, Griggs said since the birth of her first grandson, many fans have told her she is “too young” to be the grandmother of a baby boy.
“They do. [However] I’ve been around for so long it’s like dog years, I feel like I should measure my life in dinosaur years! I feel like I’m actually 1000 years old,” she said.
“However in actual fact I’m 44 [and husband] Todd turned 44 on Friday. We’re so excited that we are young parents… we now have these grown-up adult gorgeous young men in our lives.”
Griggs herself was only in her early twenties when she had her two sons Joe and Jessie with ex-husband Gary Sweet.
