Ben Fordham and Jodie Speers have welcomed a beautiful baby girl to their family.

Seven News reporter Jodie Speers and 2GB radio host Ben Fordham welcomed their new baby girl, Pearl Nellie, into the world yesterday.

Weighing in at 3.8kg, the new addition to the Speers/Fordham family joins her big brother Freddy.

In her Instagram announcement, Speers explains that in a beautiful coincidence, Pearl had arrived on her mum and dad’s wedding anniversary.

Welcome, Pearl Nellie Fordham. Our little lady arrived yesterday 1/10/16… a nice healthy 3.8kgs. We’ve forgiven her for hijacking our wedding anniversary. ????

“We’ve forgiven her for hijacking our wedding anniversary,” the journalist joked.

Proud dad Fordham shared a photo of his own, fawning over his “cute as a butterfly” daughter.

“Can’t wait to chase her around for the rest of my life,” he added.
