1. ‘Beautiful Soul’ singer Jesse McCartney is engaged and oh boy, do we feel old.
He was one of our first celebrity crushes who stole our young hearts after releasing his pop single, Beautiful Soul.
But prepare to feel old because our favourite blonde teenage heartthrob, Jesse McCartney is now engaged.
Yep, the 32-year-old will soon join the likes of the Jonas Brothers, Justin Bieber, Chad Michael Murray and other childhood crushes who are now married. And seriously what is happening?
After the couple spent the day celebrating their seven year anniversary, McCartney popped the question to his girlfriend Katie Peterson on Friday at the Beverly Wilshire hotel.
“The couple were with a group of friends as McCartney got down on one knee,” an anonymous source told E! News.
“The whole restaurant fell silent as he asked her to marry him and went into a loud applause and cheered when she said yes!”
McCartney took to Instagram to confirm the news by posting a picture of him and Peterson kissing while wearing an engagement ring.
“Locked it up,” McCartney captioned the post.
We couldn’t be happier McCartney has finally found his ‘beautiful soul’.
2. “It was detrimental to her mental health.” Why Sam Frost blocked Jackie O on Instagram.
Actress Sam Frost has shared the reason why she blocked radio presenter Jackie 'O' Henderson on Instagram.
Henderson and TV personality Sophie Monk revealed they had been blocked by Frost on KIIS FM's Kyle and Jackie O Show this week, sharing their confusion as to why exactly it occurred.
Talking to The Daily Telegraph, a spokesperson for the Home and Away actress shared Frost was not pleased with the criticism she received from Henderson and her radio partner Kyle Sandilands when she hosted their rival breakfast TV program with Rove McManus on 2DAY FM.
"[The blocking] was done years ago when Sam was on radio," the spokesperson said. "Kyle & Jackie O's relentless criticism of Rove & Sam was detrimental to Sam's mental health."
When The Daily Telegraph asked Henderson for a response, she said: “I’ve never had a bad word to say about Sam and have certainly never criticised her or her work. She’s a lovely person."
3. "I cried every day." Elyse Knowles on trying to find modelling work in the US.
Influencer Elyse Knowles was launched into mainstream media after winning Channel Nine reality TV show The Block, and subsequently becoming the face of department store Myer.
But despite her success, Knowles has revealed it hasn't always been so glamorous. The 26-year-old shared with InStyle Magazine on Saturday that she attempted to make a name for herself in America, however it went terribly wrong.
"When I was overseas I cried every day and wanted to come home – I hated it," Knowles admitted.
"I’m not one for going out to clubs and socialising with my bookers because they’re going to get me work. I don’t have to be a drunk model sucking up to get a good job. I want to get a job because I am who I am."
She added: "I’m pretty content with my decision now that Australia is my home and it’s where I want to be."
Knowles is now a well-known face in the media landscape. The model, who has 896,000 followers on Instagram, has been the ambassador for a number of big brands, including Aveda Haircare, Seafolly and Land Rover.
4. Stranger Things' Joe Keery just got a bowl cut and the internet is losing it.
You know when you get a haircut and instantly regret it?
That's exactly how a percentage of the world is feeling after Stranger Things actor Joe Keery debuted a new haircut in public.
The actor who plays Steve Harrington on the Netflix TV show rocked up to a Chanel dinner over the weekend with his signature mullet cut off into a literal bowl cut.
Suffice it to say Twitter ain't that pleased about it.

OK, one person liked it. But each to their own, right?
5. "However this ends, it ends in love." Robin Bailey is leaving radio to be with her terminally ill husband.
Triple M radio presenter Robin Bailey has confirmed next Friday will be her last morning on air.
The Brisbane-based The Big Breakfast host told The Courier Mail she’s resigning to spend more time with her husband Sean Pickwell, who was diagnosed with liver cancer in 2017.
“We were told [Sean] had six months [left to live] 14 months ago, and that in itself is wonderful it wasn’t the case, but we spent a fair bit of time searching for or believing there was going to be some cures – medical or alternative – and we’re not saying that doesn’t work for some people but he has gotten to a critical point in his journey,” Bailey told the publication.
“This last week was tough and I thought ‘nope, that was it’. I hope this is a miracle and he is here next year, but I need to spend time with my husband and not feel bad about the juggle.”
Posting to Instagram on Sunday morning, Bailey shared that they weren’t expecting their story to be featured on the front page of The Sunday Mail.
“This week it became clear to me that I needed to be home for the near future,” she wrote.
“The reason is Sean’s cancer but he wanted the announcement of his terminal diagnosis to be in his words so here we are. I’ve been really cautious about talking about it publicly as it’s not my story to tell.”

Joe Keery looks like he had his hair cut by my four year old niece. I hope it's for a role - or maybe he lost a bet.
