All the tricks Jesinta and Buddy Franklin used to keep their wedding top secret.

All we can do is applaud Jesinta and Buddy Franklin, right now.

But there’s something else they achieved, which few can.

In an era where it seems almost nothing can be kept secret, the Franklins managed to get married with no media attention, no “NEVER SEEN BEFORE” headlines, and paparazzi hiding in the bush.

The couple were married in the bubble of their closest friends and family, and they released the news on their own terms.

The question is, how?

Check out some of the best pictures from their wedding. (Post continues after gallery.)

It all started when Jesinta posted to Instagram one shot of her wedding day at 1am on Saturday morning.

People pounced needing wanting to see all the stunning images from Friday’s event. Then, a common theme emerged.

Most guests who attended were congratulating “Tony and Shaz” on their big day, which is a code name the Franklins apparently used to keep away from the public eye.

For instance, one of Buddy Franklin’s former AFL teammates posted this onto Instagram:

Tony and Shaz congrats!!! Great day ????????

The couple tied the knot at the Mount Wilson Wildenstein Gardens in the Blue Mountains, but guests from the event also threw people off scent by tagging different locations. It also helped out that their location had no mobile phone reception, either.

Some hinted they were at the Barossa Valley, others in Queenstown, New Zealand.

The couple also had to ensure the planning process was short to minimise the risk of word getting out.

A source told Fairfax media the event was “pulled together really quickly”.

It was just earlier this week that Jesinta said that the wedding remained postponed on the Today show, another excellent move.

We are just hoping they enjoyed the peace while it lasted.
