Over the past 18 years Jamie Oliver has spearheaded more than 30 cooking shows.
The celebrity chef also has 48 restaurants in the UK alone and 19 books printed in 36 languages worldwide.
Now the dad-of-five is considering taking a step back from his ever-expanding cooking empire so he can spend more time with his family.
“I have not told anyone this in the public domain,” he recently told The Sun.
“I am 42 now, I have got five kids and I am sort of actually looking at my days.
“I try to be a good dad. I could retire. So I am kind of going, ‘Well, why do I not take my boy to school every day?’.”
Together with his wife Jools, Oliver has five kids – Petal Blossom, Buddy Bear, Daisy Boo, Poppy Honey and little River Rocket.
Oliver also admitted that although he always comes across as super professional on screen, things a little bit more chaotic behind the scenes.
“The public see Jamie jazz hands. But behind the scenes my office is like a mini Disney,” he said.
So we might be seeing a lot less on Oliver on our TV screens soon (fingers-crossed for plenty of reruns).
