It was the post-election interview everyone was talking about – Donald Trump and his family on 60 Minutes outlining what his plans as President would include.
It was a chance for him to prove his naysayers wrong, for us to get a glimpse at what election promises he’ll actually see through… and for his daughter Ivanka Trump to dazzle us all with her expensive jewellery line.
Wait, what?
The 35 year old appeared in the interview alongside the rest of her family, and, never one to miss a prime business opportunity, used the opportunity to promote the $14,300 bracelet she was wearing. Yes, that’s a cheeky 14,300 Aussie dollars, friends.

I understand the conflict in interest with the Trumps business's and it is going to happen, so the bracelet was not a big deal. I also understand her company habitually promoting her company's product - it is called business. He is not President until January and I think the family deserves the time between now and then to set up new rules of business so the line between them and the Presidency is clear. It won't matter however what the Trumps do, they will be crucified (rightly or wrongly) by the media. As a point of interest I am not a Trump fan, but I do respect the position of POTUS and accept the difficulties this places on the family.
