They say everything has a natural opposite.
You might have remembered the ‘Hate Truck’ that was driving around from city to city with big signage that pretty much told everyone homosexuals were bad. Well, the Ice Cream Truck of Love is the opposite.
It’s a crowd-funded confectionery cavalcade criss-crossing the country for love. Not hate.
Now there’s a cause we can get behind!
What a neat idea! What’s the best way you’ve come across to counter bigotry?

I suppose it's a better idea then Bogan Ali's attack on Tony Abbott because of his 'bigotry and homophobia.' Gee wizzzzzzz, I am soooo over this marriage equality stuff, 'm so over the homophobe chestnut and I'd really love to know what percentage of gays think marriage is important. After years of sneering at the vanilla eaters, I just cannot comprehend that its anything more than an attack on the churches and an excuse for the fringe dwellers to get some attention and make themselves feel like they're 'making a difference.'
Wow, that's unbelievably ignorant and offensive.
If one gay person thinks marriage is important to them, and they are refused the right to marry - then it's an issue.
I think we can safely say at least 1 gay person in Australia feel this way.
I think 'gays sneering at the vanilla eaters' is just too much of a stereotype to even bother addressing - apart from pointing out it is just a stereotype this is inaccurate.
And it isn't about the church or religion - as in Australia marriage is secular. If I'm atheist and straight I can marry, but any homosexual person can't marry. How is religion being brought up at all?
I honestly hope one day you realise that all the 'hoo-haa' is because everybody deserves equal rights, not matter what icecream flavour they like, nor their sexuality, religious beliefs or otherwise. You arguments don't make reasonable or logical sense.
What an awesome idea! ice cream is great regardless of flavour!
