The “hurricane Meghan” rumours surrounding the Duchess of Sussex and her “difficult behaviour” have been circulating the British tabloids in recent weeks – headlines which, for anyone, would surely be painful to read.
From gossip about a “tense” relationship with her sister-in-law Kate Middleton, speculation about her and Prince Harry’s decision to move from Kensington Palace, to reports of “bridezilla” behaviour ahead of her wedding, the nasty stories have been non-stop.

The hate generated by the U.K. press is about the Duchess of Sussex success. She is beautiful, slim, has a brilliant stage presence and is obviously in love with her husband. The U.K. press is notorious for coming after successful people. This too shall pass.
I don't think the hate was generated by the press, but started with leaks from Palace insiders to the press which has capitalized on them. The Duchess of Sussex's greatest success has been snagging Prince Harry for a husband. I wonder though is she 'in love' with Henry Wales (by all accounts rather dim witted, albeit charming) or Prince Henry, 6th in line to the throne? Only time will tell.
It was generated by her terrible relatives, and stirred up by the press. I think you are describing Duchess Catherine re her snagging of William. She wasn't called 'wait'y katey for nothing, she had no career to speak of, just waiting for William to marry her. On the contrary, Meghan was very accomplished and successful in her career and in her humanitarian work, has a very high work ethic (where as William and Kate are called work-shy), and is independently wealthy. I think anyone would like a 'success' like hers. She didn't wait around to snag a rich man at her mother's insistence (and as seen again with Pippa), she was no gold-digger. She had possibly more disposable income to herself than Harry is granted as an allowance by the Queen. She wanted for nothing. *Her* relationship is altruistic. Can't say the same for waity.
I believe the vast majority of hatred people have for Meghan is due to her race. After all, she has it all - what other reason is there for hating on an independent, intelligent, hard-working, attractive, independently wealthy and successful woman and humanitarian? None that I can see. Especially when she can never be accused of gold-digging, unlike others. So the only reason I can see to dislike/hate her is her race. No one can convince me otherwise.
Harry is extremely wealthy in his own right through his mother and Meghan's lifestyle and net wealth (helped by a hefty divorce settlement) paled in comparison. Several million dollars is comfortable, but would certainly not allow her the same life and fame she now enjoys. I doubt she flew around in private jets, stayed in the best hotels, had staff waiting on her, wore jewels and outfits worth hundreds of thousands of pounds. Until she hooked up with Harry, who had even heard of her? I think you grossly over estimate her humanitarian work, which would have been organized through her manager and publicists. It is too simplistic to blame race as the reason for the negative stories about her, but I guess it is a convenient excuse. The media loved Fergie when she married Andrew, but that soon turned to scorn and was centered around her behaviour. Meghan's relatives only starting selling stories to the press when they realized they were publicly disavowed by her, with the statement that the Royal Family were 'the family she never had'. No wonder they were offended.
I think YOU grossly underestimate Meghan's humanitarian work. A simple Google search will show you that she has been active in that arena since she was a young girl. As for the so-called divorce settlement, there was none. I think it's simplistic not to think that race is the real issue. When the UK press and hateful palace insiders don't have a leg to stand on in terms of truth, they make stories up --- rather than admit that they hate their new bi-racial royal family member simply because she is bi-racial.
You do realise that some "anonymous sources" and "palace insiders" are often direct leaks from the person being written about, yeah? Diana released info on herself to the press all the time - this image manipulation isn't new.
And just as often it’s complete bullshit, made up by the ‘writers’. Take it all with a huge grain of salt.
Lol I don't think Diana released stories that made her look bad which is what the stories about Meghan are about. If you were to leak stories about yourself, they'd be positive stories, yeah? Why would she leak stories that paint her in a bad light?
Much of the positive press about Meghan being a breath of feminist fresh air around the palace, and about how everyone is either threatened or in awe by her new ways and awesome work ethic could well be manufactured to make herself look great. Thing I side-eye the most is her history as a lifestyle blogger. She's got form for curating the best story and angle of herself, and old habits die hard.
Diana leaked stories to make herself appear the victim and/or humanitarian. Many of the "poor misunderstood feminist Meghan" stories we're seeing may well be of a similar ilk.
