Among a sea of designer frocks, it was a homemade dress that won Fashions on the Field on Melbourne Cup Day.
Olivia Moor, 26, from Auckland, wore a stunning red gown, made by her mother. She will now go on to compete in the final on Oaks Day.
Moor is no stranger to race day fashion, having entered Fashions on the Field competitions since 2007. Her 27-year-old sister Charlotte is also a regular competitor.
The ensemble was a stand out, with the stunning frock complemented by red accessories. Moor’s tartan fascinator was particularly unique.
For her original look, the jewellery designer won a $2500 Myer shopping spree, a four night stay at the Sofitel Melbourne and, of course, tickets to Oaks Day.
