Who was it in history that first came up with the concept of a Girls’ Weekend Away? We’re no sure why someone hasn’t created a public holiday in that person’s honour, or given them keys to a major metropolitan city because in our book? They deserve a medal.
There’s something special about hanging out with just the girls on a girls’ weekend or otherwise. There are those intimate conversations, kind advice, the occasional tear and an abundance of laughter. That feeling of being with people who just. get. you. is quite simply, incomparable.
This week our favourite group of women share their favourite moments, holidays and memories of time spent with X chromosomes only on a girls’ weekend away. And it’s a whole lot of fun, check it out:
The Little Things That Are Big To You series is brought to you in partnership with our friends at Holiday Inn. Like us, they understand that in life – it’s often the little things that are the most memorable and important.
What is your most precious memory of time with the girls? Share your girl’s weekend memories here.
At Holiday Inn we like to think that we help create great memories for the right reasons. Holiday Inn is constantly evolving to ensure that every aspect of your stay makes you feel relaxed and cared for. We know the little things are big to you.
That’s why kids always eat and stay free – just one of the small things we do to make a big difference to our guests. We also give you a choice of soft or firm pillows, and a refreshing, spacious shower experience.
