It’s Sunday night which means we are once again shamelessly watching fake marriages implode on national television.
And tonight’s commitment ceremony certainly had us screaming at our TVs.
Especially when it came time for Stacey and Michael to talk about their relationship.
You see, Stacey still very much refuses to believe Michael and Hayley kissed because she needs evidence.
So Michael decided to give a very cheesy speech to try to win her over. And he’s clearly been watching too many rom-coms because he pulled out all the stops, including background music (ok that was probably the producers, but still).
Alas, Nicholas Sparks failed him because Stacey ended up saying ‘leave’. But with Michael deciding to stay, they’re both forced to stay (fake) married for another week.
That’s right folks, another week of manufactured drama is coming our way.
But then came a moment that surprised precisely everyone.
After exchanging pleasantries with David and calling him a “creme de la crumb” Hayley decided to stay in the experiment. And we were shocked.
