Are you seriously advocating spending money on what is clearly inferred to be an inferior gift? Buying a pair of rubber thongs that no one will wear simply to create an extra present makes my brain hurt. Call me Scrooge but my Xmas message has always been make Xmas memories not Xmas debt.

Wait, I thought the colourful patterns were the appeal of Havianas? I don't find Havaianas very comfortable (the strap is too thin and rigid), so if the appeal is not the colours and patterns, I'm baffled. If you want solid neutral colours, you can get them for a hell of a lot cheaper at KMart. Cheaper than $9.95 even.
