When 50-year-old actress Halle Berry walked the red carpet of Sunday night’s Butterfly Ball in Los Angeles wearing a form-fitting silver sequinned dress and resting her hands on her stomach, the world starting talking.

Was the movie star expecting?

As it turns out, not quite.

Halle Berry is not pregnant. Which makes sense, because not every woman who places her hands on her stomach at any given time is busy growing a baby.

A rep for the star confirmed the (fake) news, but the star herself wanted to clear things up in her own way.

So, she posted a cheeky image on Instagram addressing the rumours.

Posting a selfie for her 1.6 million followers, the X-Men actress wrote, "Can a girl have some steak and fries??"
