Sad news.
Singers Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale have announced they are filing for divorce, after 13 years of marriage.
The couple, who got married in 2002, issued a joint statement to People saying they will continue to focus on raising their three children.
“While the two of us have come to the mutual decision that we will no longer be partners in marriage, we remain partners in parenthood and are committed to jointly raising our three sons in a happy and healthy environment,” the statement said.
“To that end, we respectfully request privacy from the media during this time.”
Gwen, 45, and Gavin, 49, have three sons together – nine-year-old Kingston, six-year-old Zuma and one-year-old Apollo.
It was just March when Gwen last spoke about her marriage, in an interview with Cosmopolitan.
“We go through so much together – it’s a miracle that we could stay together this long,” she said at the time.
“It’s good to have those days when we both do our own things. I think that’s what keeps relationships going, when both people can be themselves and have their own individuality.”
