Cate Blanchett and Guy Pearce appear to be in a one-sided feud, and the internet doesn't quite know what to do about it.
The two performers, both considered Australian acting royalty, have left us feeling a little confused after Pearce wrote and published several tweets 'throwing shade' at Blanchett.
However, it seems this feud (which is entirely one-sided, might we remind you) dates all the way back to 2009.

It began over a pay discrepancy almost 14 years ago â when Pearce alluded to being annoyed with Blanchett. At the time, she was the co-artistic director of the Sydney Theatre Company.
Pearce was due to appear in a production of Poor Boy. The project was a joint venture between the Sydney Theatre Company and the Melbourne Theatre Company.
But when asked if he would fulfil the role in Sydney too, the Neighbours actor told Stuff NZ: "Iâd certainly do it if I didnât have any other projects coming forward but itâs way too early to tell.
