From the dapper to the daring, the GQ Men of The Year Awards was a welcome sight at a time of year that’s pretty much a red carpet drought.
Honouring men (and one woman) who have achieved great things this year, winners of the event included Joel Creasy, Peter Greste, Stan Grant, Chris Hemsworth and Iggy Azalea.
But we’re giving an honorary prize of to presenter Lisa Wilkinson.
Why? Among (many) other reasons, she proves you don’t have to wear a fancy frock to nail red carpet dressing.
In an ivory Carla Zampatti suit, Victoria Beckham clutch and Stuart Weitzman heels, hers may just be our favourite event outfit of the year.
Sunrise presenter Edwina Bartholomew also eschewed the usual dress for a versatile blank jumpsuit and statement earrings.
