North Carolina teen Jacquie Ross had just hopped out of the shower when her friend, Michael, asked her to send him a picture of her outfit.

So, naturally, she delivered.

Except, Jacquie’s response was not what Michael was expecting. AT ALL.

“I told him I wasn’t fit for pictures of the whole outfit at the moment,” 16-year-old Jacquie told Buzzfeed News of the text message exchange, which occurred while the pair were discussing outfits for their upcoming prom.

“He asked why, and I sent him a picture of the face mask, not even considering how you could see my shoulders.”

Michael proceeded to ask Jacquie to show him "what was beneath" her towel. That's when Jacquie made her way into the 'Perfect Response to Unwanted Requests For Nudes' Hall of Fame.

Every time Michael asked to see what was under Jacquie's towel, she showed off...another towel.

When Michael accused Jacquie of - SHOCK HORROR - putting on more towels between shots (how dare you, Michael) she replied that she "always puts on exactly 18 towels" after a shower.

SAME.

But Jacquie wasn't done yet, because Michael really wasn't getting the point of the entire conversation.

Seriously, Michael. Mike. Mikey. You need to stop.

The back-and-forth ordeal finally ended when Jacquie sent Michael a picture of her pitch-dark room, saying all her towels had been removed but it was now too dark to see.
