As of July 2016, the Abbott government has proposed individuals will not receive PPL entitlements from the government if they are also receiving payments from their employer.

5. Mount Isa caravan explosion being investigated as murder-suicide.

Police have determined explosives were used to blow up a caravan, killing two children and their father in Queensland last month.
