Open Post: How's your week been?

It’s Wednesday which means one thing at Mamamia HQ – Open Post.

Something exciting happened yesterday.

There I was sitting at my desk, half asleep after watching our amazing Editor in Chief on Q&A in the studio the night before when my phone rang.

It was an unknown number. I don’t usually answer unknowns, but for some reason I did- and down the other end of the phone was former Today show newsreader and one of our all time favourite women – Georgie Gardner.

Miriam Margolyes calls Prime Minister Tony Abbott a ‘tit’ on Q&A.

Now before you get too excited (like I did) it wasn’t because she wanted to ask me out to coffee. She was on the way to the Mamamia office to be filmed for an exciting new video series for Mamamia TV… and needed some directions.

Mamamia founder Mia Freedman is working on an exciting new video and podcast series with some of Australia’s best known media personalities and Georgie is just one of many brilliant people we’ve had in our offices over the past week.

We’ve had David Koch:

Kochie paid us a visit this week. So naturally we made him pose for a group photo. #MMIA

Ben Fordham:

Our first special guest of the day? None other than @benfordham9. #MMIA #bts #MMTV

And the list goes on. (It really does – but we don’t want to give too many things away.) Each of these interviews will be coming to a screen near you on a soon-to-be-launched Mamamia TV next month.

You’ll be able to watch all of them, snippets of them or listen to them on the go.
