George and Joanna Burgess are now proud parents to a baby boy.

George Burgess is now a doting dad.

The South Sydney Rabbitohs star and his wife Joanna welcomed a baby boy late Saturday night, named Boston Mark Burgess.

George announced the happy news on Instagram with a gorgeous photo of the “perfect” newborn being cradled by his mum.

“[Joanna] is an absolute machine. Our little boy, well he is just perfect isn’t he?” the 24-year-old captioned the image.

To say it’s been a big few months in the Burgess family would be quite the understatement.

On December 3, George and Joanna tied the knot in Noosa, Queensland.

Then, just over a month later, the NRL star's brother Sam and his wife Phoebe welcomed their daughter Poppy Alice Burgess into the world.

Evidently the newborn cousins have already met; Boston's Aunty Phoebe shared this sweet photo on Instagram on Sunday evening:
