Genevieve Lacaze may have come 5th in the final of the Steeplechase, but as far as everybody in the country is concerned today, she actually won the entire Commonwealth Games.
Lacaze is the hilarious legend who got up on stage at the closing ceremony and started dancing during Kylie Minogue’s performance:

Lacaze turned 25 the last day of the games, and she ABC Gold Coast radio this morning that she had warned her parents to keep an eye out for her during the closing ceremony.
“I said I’d try and get on TV but I don’t think they were expecting quite the move I pulled,” she said.
GOLD MEDAL FOR GENEVIEVE LACAZE.

Even her mother asked her "what were you thinking?"
