Three young girls are now too frightened to go outside after a disgusting, racially-motivated attack in a Geelong park.
Walija, Nadia and Aima, who are 12, 15 and 10 respectively, were playing happily in Northlane park when a gang of 10 youths began to abuse them.
They punched, kicked and threw rocks at the girls, who fled to Australia from Afghanistan, before eventually tearing off their religious headscarves.
“They were saying ‘go back to your country’, ‘I’m going to f*ck your mum’, rude words like that.”
When Aima tried to use her mobile phone to call police, it was snatched from her and smashed on the ground.
Eventually an adult arrived, but it was one of the youths’ parents who, instead of intervening, egged them on.
“They hit us and their mum was saying rude words to us, ‘go back to your country’, ‘go back to your country’,” Aima said.
Local police condemned the attack as “sickening” and “extremely alarming”, particularly given the girls age.

I feel sorry for the young perpetrators. What chance do they have to prosper in life with a mother like that.
Ah yeah, politics.
Gotta love parliamentary privilege.
