It’s official. Pop star Gwen Stefani, 46, and her ex-husband Gavin Rossdale, 50, have reached a settlement in their divorce.
And what they’ve agreed to will make single mums everywhere fist-pump.
Technically, Rossdale is legally entitled to half of the couple’s assets given that the pair chose to not have a prenuptial agreement 13 years ago when they married. However, according to People magazine, Rossdale walked away with an unequal split of property favouring Stefani; a 50-50 balance of joint custody of their three sons; and he did not request child support.
News of the 20-year-long relationship disintegrating hit tabloids in August last year amidst rumours of infidelity between Rossdale and the couple’s former nanny.
In the wake of their split, Stefani perfectly captured the gut-wrenching feeling of heartbreak in her music. (Post continues after video.)

Why is this even deemed worthy of fist pumping in some sort of celebration? I honestly don't get it.
Maybe the result here is a rare example of an amicable divorce. Gavin had huge success with Bush selling millions of records and for everything to have been settled in this way both parties must have chosen not to go after each other. There should be no fist pumping over the dollars saved when both are already millionaires. They should just be happy to have everything finalised and there children not being dragged through a custody battle.
