Gable Tostee ordered a slice of pizza while walking alone around Surfers Paradise shortly after Warriena Wright fell to her death from his apartment balcony in 2014, a Brisbane court has heard.
Tostee, 30, pleaded not guilty to murdering the 26-year-old New Zealand tourist, whom he met that night via dating app Tinder.
The pair’s exchange on Tinder in the lead up to the meeting was tendered to court today, where Tostee told Ms Wright she looked “delicious”.
Ms Wright fell from Tostee’s 14th floor balcony about four hours after the pair arrived at the Avalon apartment complex and after the relationship turned violent.
CCTV played in the Supreme Court today shows when Tostee and Ms Wright met around 8:45pm in the Cavill Mall at Surfers Paradise
The 40-minute video showed the pair embraced and then made their way to the Surfers Paradise Beer Garden, where they spent a short time.
The pair could then be seen walking to a nearby bottle shop, where Tostee bought a six pack of beer.
By around 8:52pm — seven minutes after they met — the pair was seen entering the Avalon apartment complex where Tostee lived.
The vision then jumped to 2:25am the next day where Tostee could be seen leaving his apartment building through the basement.
Tostee was then seen walking alone around Surfers Paradise for more than an hour, during which time the prosecution alleged he ordered a slice of pizza at a shop and was then picked up by his father.
The CCTV was made up of vision from council cameras and security cameras from the apartment complex.

I would hate to be her mother. Not only has she lost her daughter, she has to hear this whole sleazy 'Tinder pickup' thing played out for the world.
