Remember when you were young and you used to think the strangest things about your parents. You used to think they were the oldest and wisest people on the planet – and also that they sat at the centre of the universe.
They were a safe haven, and as you grew older you started realising that everything you believed was slightly wrong, or had been tainted with ignorant bliss.
Your kids probably think similar things about you today, they may think you're the tallest person on the planet, or the oldest, or perhaps they think you have some magic power (that you may or may not have told them you have).
A conversation on Reddit has brought back some hilarious memories for a lot of adults, about what they believed about their dad when they were a kid.
