Animals tell their humans: that's what you get for being selfish enough to leave the house.

Anyone who is owned by a pet, and who is selfish enough to occasionally want to leave the house without that pet, could tell you this one indisputable truth:

There are times when they cannot even deal with being left home alone.

Cannot. Even. Deal.

Observe, and experience that sinking feeling in the pit of your stomach that only comes from seeing your favourite bra – RIPPED IN HALF.

This guy couldn’t deal.

This guy definitely couldn’t deal.

This guy tried to deal but couldn’t.

This guy has given up on dealing ever again.

And here, for your viewing pleasure, are a bunch more pets that couldn’t even deal with being left home alone:

That’s what you get for being selfish enough to leave the house.

My spoodle likes to leave brown presents on the deck. Even though as soon as I walk outside she hides because she knows she should go around the side. But she chooses the deck so her paws don't get wet! So frustrating!!

That's what my dog used to do when it rained! Didn't want to go to the toilet on the wet grass so she went on the deck instead.

My dog doesn't like to get her paws wet on the grass but she walks just far enough that all four paws are on there. Great job except that her but is still hanging over the concrete.

Why don't you live a pee/poo pad on the deck (much easier to clean up), maybe there's something scary around the side of the house?

So cute, it's like living with a furry toddler, forever.

My cat Sammi, doesn't like it when I'm out for a whole day once a month (I need to go to hospital).. When I get home, she will have pushed the cushions off the lounge or pulled the towels down in the bathroom or she may be sitting in the middle of the kitchen island or sometimes all of the above..

When I come in through the front door and say "Hello, what have you been up to?", she gives me one of those looks that says "you talking to me?"

Pets are the best house mates ever.
