From on Stan is the scariest show on TV, and it's back for season three.

From is the horror series that keeps us up at night.

Two terrifying seasons have come and gone, ending on one wild cliffhanger, and now the show is back for season 3 on Stan. And honestly, I'm going to need a night light after watching this one.

From tells the nightmarish tale of a town in Middle America that traps anyone who enters, with unwilling residents striving to stay alive and search for a way out. What's so bad about this town? It's occupied by terrifying nocturnal creatures from the surrounding forest, who murder anyone caught outside when the sun goes down. They're also very manipulative and have tricked many a towns person into their tragic death.

As the residents fight to keep a sense of normalcy in their town, they must also survive the threats of the surrounding forest. This proves to be truly frightening.

Legendary horror author Stephen King called From “true edge-of-your-seat stuff, believable and scary as hell".

Meanwhile, our Head of Entertainment Laura Brodnik said season one was so terrifying that "for the first time in my adult life a TV series had me checking the corners of my bedroom before I went to sleep."

Eek!

So, what’s in store for the third season of From on Stan?

Season 2 unveiled a whole new host of horrors, showing us there was more to fear than just the monsters and their creepy, creepy smiles. But that wasn't the only revelation that left us wanting more.

After the second season ended on an extreme cliffhanger, with the revelation that escape from this hellish town is indeed possible, we pick back up in the aftermath.

This new season will explore the tantalising and very real possibility of escape, as the true nature of the town comes into focus and the townspeople go on the offence against the myriad of horrors surrounding them.

Harold Perrineau will return as Boyd Stevens, the town's de facto sheriff and mayor, Catalina Sandino Moreno as Tabitha Matthews and Eion Bailey as Jim Matthews will also return.

Joining the ensemble cast will be Robert Joy (CSI: NY) and Samantha Brown (Y: The Last Man). Joy will play Henry, a curmudgeon to whom the years have not been kind, while Brown will play Acosta, a new-to-the-force police officer who is in over her head.

At 2024's San Diego Comic-Con event, the full trailer for From season 3 was revealed, offering a glimpse at what's to come on September 23 when the new episodes drop.

"No matter what this place throws at us, we’re going to find our way home," Boyd says in the trailer, which you can watch below.

Director Jack Bender told Tell-Tale TV the new season will only continue the chaos.

"[Season 2] builds and builds to a really powerful, crazy, climactic end of the season, which is where we’re going to pick up season three. It does get worse; it’s like quicksand," he revealed.

Oh, goodie! The horror continues...
