Lily Allen has given birth to a baby girl. The 27-year-old singer and her husband, Sam Cooper, welcomed Marnie Rose Cooper into the world on Tuesday night.
Lily and Sam are also parents to a 14-month-old girl named Ethel.
The Sun newspaper reported the following from a source close to the pair: “Marnie is a real cutie. Sam and Lily are ecstatic about adding another girl to the family. A little sister for Ethel is brilliant news to lift the January blues for the family.”
It’s very happy news for the couple, especially considering Lily’s struggles in the past; she tragically lost two children previously, one by miscarriage in 2008 and one by stillbirth in 2010.

3. Ladies, if you’re still pining away for Ryan Gosling – give up now because it’s a lost cause. His relationship with Eva Mendes seems to be getting VERY serious. Eva and Ryan’s mum Donna are so close that they even borrow each other’s clothes. Totes besties.
Donna accompanied Ryan to the premiere of his movie, Gangster Squad, wearing an outfit sourced entirely from Eva. Ryan told E!News: “My mother’s wearing all my girlfriend’s clothes.” His mum confirmed it, saying: “”I’m wearing Eva Mendes. She let me raid her closet.”

Courteney CoxYou know what, I’m game for anything. I’m very open to trying to prolong the inevitable…I’m a big laser believer I really think they are the wave of the future. I just did Ulthera which is supposed to produce collagen. And I’m about to do Fraxel, which will get rid of all these brown spots off my arms, chest and face.
Courteney also spoke about the pressure to conform to the Hollywood ideal of beauty, saying: “There’s so many beautiful people and there’s so much pressure you put on yourself but David [Arquette] has always said to me, you’ve got to accept we’re all gonna age and just do it gracefully. And the sooner you accept, the easier your life is.”
7. Gwyneth Paltrow is releasing a new cookbook – and this one is all about the elimination diet. This is a diet that basically involves not eating ANYTHING! Fun.
Apparently, 40-year-old Gwyneth was battling fatigue, faintness, anemia and stress last year and so her doctor prescribed her the elimination diet to clear out her system and help her body heal. There’s no caffeine, alcohol, dairy, eggs, sugar, wheat, soy or processed foods allowed.
The diet inspired Gwyneth’s cookbook, which promises 195 “restorative” recipes completely devoid of all of the above foods (i.e. anything fun).
Gwyneth has also gone make-up free for the cover of her cookbook, take a look:
The book is set to be released in April.

Gwyneth looks amazeballs. God help me she looks incredible.
On the misheard song lyrics - people of a certain age might know of a 1980 Richard Clapton song which I sang for years as 'I'm so tired, babe'. Quite the popular song at the time. Something like 20 years later, I heard it through different ears on a classic hits station and to my embarrassment I realised that it was actually 'High Society'. It's funny how you can be embarrassed even if no-one is around when your mistake comes to light!
From a similar era - my mother thought Paul McCartney / Wings had a very successful song called 'You're Looking Tired'. (Mull of Kintyre)
