Norwegians really love their wood
It’s not gay marriage, it’s not religion: it’s firewood that really divides people in Norway.
Nearly a million people – or 20 percent of the Norwegian population – tuned in to watch a 12-hour long program about firewood.
The show’s called National Firewood Night, and it mostly featured people talking and chopping in the woods and then EIGHT HOURS of a fire burning in a fireplace.
But it was the bark that really got people riled up with many viewers complaining via text message about the stacking of wood. Fifty percent of viewers complained the bark was facing up while fifty percent of viewers complained the bark was facing down.
One viewer confessed on a Norwegian website she was so excited during the show, she couldn’t tear herself away to take herself to bed.
I guess they don’t have My Kitchen Rules in Norway?
I went to the Oscars and all I got was this lousy souvenir
And the winner of Best Son goes to…. Adele’s son (whose name has not yet been revealed publicly).
” . . . and we’re home! What an epic trip. Thanks for having us Hollywood!” Adele tweeted with this picture of a mini-me Oscar she picked up for her 5-month old boy.

I've read about the Norwegian firewood program before and I'm confused - if half were upset that the bark was up and half that it was down, what way up was it on the show?
For the first time ever, I actually feel sorry for Kim K... At how the whole wide world is judging her fashion choices when she's pregnant for the first time, and her body is going in all sorts of crazy directions she never thought possible.
If it was Lady GaGa who was pregnant wearing a marshmallow, we'd all be applauding...
