The shocking grammar is the least concerning thing about this marriage proposal.
Getting down on bended knee is the traditional gesture of a romantic marriage proposal.
But if there’s one thing we know about champion boxer Floyd Mayweather, it’s that he is far from traditional.
The celebrated athlete and serial woman-basher popped the question to his former girlfriend Shantel Jackson via text message.
Not only did the proposal from the world’s richest athlete contain bribes and read more like a legal contract (except, with lots of misspelled words and very poor grammar), but he also demanded she improve her attitude.
RIP Romance.
According to court documents lodged in a legal battle between the duo and seen by TMZ Sports, Mayweather tried to convince Ms Jackson to be his bride in April 2014 with these text messages:
“This is what I offer to you. Let’s get married move in together you can go back in forth to L.A and stay at the condo.”
“I promise I will get you in 3 A list movies this year and I’m willing to go to counselling to make us work and you can get the stuff you want and I’m willing to change but I need you to have a better attitude.”
Unsurprisingly, Ms Jackson declined the offer.
She claims Mayweather – who regularly flaunts his cash and wealth on social media – also sent her the following texts:
“I got nasty videos too that I can put on Instagram and twitter.” (A threat Ms Jackson probably took seriously after Mayweather accused her of aborting their twin babies and posted an image online purporting to be the abortion papers and an ultrasound image of the babies.)

P.I.G is too good a word and a complete insult to the animal. Arsewipe prick. Amazing that he's idolised, poor reflection on our shallow, mysogynistic society. Money buys anything including dignity, moral and souls.
Classy. Problem is he'll continue to do stuff like this while women keep lining up to date him and end up putting up with his bs
You got it in one!
