Just in case you were hanging out for more 50 Shades... Christian is back.

We’re not so sure.

Apparently E.L. James, author of the poorly written Fifty Shades of Grey trilogy, thinks her first three books about domination and an abusive relationship were too woman-friendly.

Time to give the men a say, she reckons. And the only way to do that? To give Christian Grey his own book, written from his own misogynistic perspective.

To read Rosie Waterland’s take on Fifty Shades… Rosie Reviews: Fifty Shades of Grey.

It’s called Grey, and it’s unfortunately going to be here a lot earlier than any of us wanted.

“Christian is a complex character and readers have always been fascinated by his desires and motivations, and his troubled past,” James told Variety.

“Also, as anyone who has ever been in a relationship knows, there are two sides to every story. It’s been a great pleasure to return to my happy place-writing, being with Christian and Ana in their universe, and working with the fantastic team at Vintage.”

To read what Mia Freedman thinks of Fifty Shades of Grey… Mia Freedman on Fifty Shades of Grey: “It is FICTION.”

Anyone who has ever been in a relationship also knows the ‘universe’ James has imagined between Christian and Ana is not a healthy place to be.

There are many, many things we’d rather do than read Christian’s perspective of his abusing ways in book form. Like, be forced to read Twilight every night before bed for the rest of our lives. Or drink off milk. Basically, anything, really.

We really don’t want to, but we know we’ll probably read it anyway. It’s coming out June 18 – Christian’s birthday. How… fitting.

STILL blatantly copying Stephenie Meyer (hello - Midnight Sun anyone?)

This "author" needs to get some characters and ideas of her own. (Some writing lessons wouldn't hurt either)
