Farmer Wants A Wife has even more behind-the-scenes gossip than Married At First Sight.
Yes, it seems the reality show that led to nine marriages and 23 babies is not quite so wholesome after all.

As the series wraps up for another year, we decided to round up the juiciest behind-the-scenes gossip from the show.
From a rumoured secret girlfriend to a pregnancy scandal, here's what we discovered.
An unexpected pregnancy scandal.
Well, this is... unexpected.
Two weeks ago, The Wash reported they received "multiple messages from various (reliable) sources" claiming that a contestant had "hooked up" with another farmer behind her farmer's back during the group camping trip.
"They continued secretly seeing each other throughout the rest of filming," the entertainment website shared.
"She is apparently 'now pregnant with his child' and he 'has made it clear he wants nothing to do with the baby and ghosted her.'"
The publication added that a number of people "connected to the show" have spoken out about the apparent pregnancy scandal.
Then last week, Farmer Wants A Wife contestant Hayley Love confirmed she is pregnant with Farmer Will's baby.
In a statement to news.com.au, Hayley, who was paired with Farmer Matt on the show, explained that she started dating Farmer Will in December, shortly before the show's reunion episode was filmed in January.
"I am 22 weeks pregnant with Farmer Will's child," the 25-year-old said in a statement.
"We’d started chatting online. [Then] I visited him at his house in Longwood... He told me he had feelings for me and I had feelings for him. From there, I saw him as often as I could, staying at his house for a few days at a time."
Will, 39, and Hayley, 25, later separated in April. However, shortly afterwards, Hayley found out that she was six weeks pregnant.
Hayley was "terrified" about telling Will, and later called him to share the news.
"I’ve tried to keep things amicable with him, to be clear on what his involvement with our child will be. I’ve asked him to all the appointments, and he did come to the ultrasound," she said.
Hayley was sent home from Farmer Wants A Wife by Farmer Matt in the final week of the show.
Farmer Will chose nurse Jaimee in the show's final episode.
Farmer Will responds to the pregnancy news.
Now, Farmer Will has responded to the pregnancy news on Instagram, sharing that he will be there for the baby "if this is in fact my child".
"My family are my world, and my parents were the perfect role models. When the time comes, I will be the best Dad I can be. If this is in fact my child, I’ll be there whenever the child needs me," he began the post, which was first spotted by The Wash.
"Even if as parents we can’t be a couple, our family will be filled with love for our child."
The 39-year-old went on to say that he's not happy with the way things have played out in the public eye.
"One thing I learnt from my Father is that discretion is the better part of valour. I’m sad that this has played out in public. I want only the best for Hayley. I’ll say what needs to be said in private and let my deeds do the talking."
A 'fake' farmer.
Since the show kicked off at the start of the month, Farmer Want's A Wife's Sam Messina has faced rumours he's a 'fake' farmer.
Before the series even began, a TikTok video claimed that the 24-year-old was actually using his brother's farm in Canowindra in NSW's Central West during filming.
Likewise, residents from Canowindra commented that they didn't even recognise Farmer Sam as a local, while others claimed Sam worked as a truck driver.
"This dude isn't even a farmer or from Canowindra," one local wrote.
"Yup, when they find out he isn't a farmer and used his brother's farm to get on the show..." another wrote.
"It's actually the family farm. He had to borrow stock and machinery from local farmers. It's not even a farm, it's only four paddocks. It's a block," another said.
Sam later responded to the criticism on Instagram.
"The farm you see in the show is a family farm. I have a partnership with my brother and I never once claimed that it is explicitly mine. I would hate to take that away from my brother," he wrote.
"I split my time between the farm and nearby Orange, where I took Mackenzie for our date. My brother and sister-in-law are great people, but you don’t always want to be the third wheel," he continued.
"I’m just like every other person out there – sometimes two incomes are needed to pay the bills. I drive trucks as a second income and that’s never been a secret.
"Life is still going on while filming is happening. On the few days we had off, I still had to attend to work and life commitments and it was pretty challenging.
"My mum’s health has been a recent issue, and this was something I had trouble processing, so some days, like every human, I’d have a hard time. I didn’t want to have to talk about this out of respect to my mum's privacy, but I feel I need to address this to be completely transparent."
A secret girlfriend.
Amid allegations that Sam was a 'fake' farmer, the 24-year-old faced rumours he had a secret girlfriend during filming.
"My friend knows this guy, and he had a long-term girlfriend whilst filming this," one person shared on TikTok.
However, Sam responded to the claim in his recent Instagram post, writing: "I never had a girlfriend while filming. I went on this show to experience life and love and form new connections. I could never do that to someone and I could never do that to myself. It's not in my nature."
Interestingly, Sam turned off comments on the lengthy post.
