A "secret romance" and a cheating scandal: All the Farmer Wants A Wife gossip in one place.

This season of Farmer Wants A Wife has been one hell of a ride. 

From two farmers leaving the show early to an alleged cheating scandal, Farmer has served up plenty of gossip and drama.

"I’m a character." Jess Cova on the "bizarre editing" she received. 

Jess was one of the last two ladies fighting for Farmer Will's heart. While she may be a favourite of the season, she's made it clear she's unhappy about the way she has been portrayed on the series. 

In an interview Sunday Confidential, Jess explained the show has made it look like she does not want to relocate with Will to his farm in Berriwillock, Victoria (she is from Queensland). 

"Throughout, they very much tried to push the narrative that I wouldn’t move to be with Will. But I never said that I wouldn’t," Jess told the publication. 

"I was just being realistic about not being able to move immediately because I very much pride myself on being independent."

She also discussed taking Will to visit her grandmother in Italy, but that also wasn't included in the episode. 

"Sadly, they did not show much of it. I think that’s how editing goes, for how they want to portray their storylines," Jess said. 

The reality star wasn't happy with the "frankengrab" edits either, saying her words were twisted when they cut, edited and laid what she said over other scenes. 

"The relationship we were building at the time is so much stronger than what they’ve portrayed," Jess explained. “But they’ve got to keep viewers guessing. It’s very bizarre. I’ve had to remind myself that it’s TV, and I’m a character.”

So, apparently Farmer Benjamin is dating one of his top three picks from the show. 

It looks like Farmer Ben has kept in very close contact with Hannah, one of the girls from his farm. 

According to So Dramatic!, Ben bought a gift for her months after filming wrapped up.

"He went to my friend’s salon and bought her a gift voucher," an insider told the publication.

"Apparently, he’s really nice, but she didn’t know who he was, and he said, ‘I’m on TV, you know.'"

In late September, Ben left the show after he became ill. Previously we found out his grandmother had passed away. 

Farmer Harry was using a borrowed farm while recording for Farmer Wants a Wife.

Earlier, it was uncovered by The Herald Sun that Farmer Harry had been using another farm to woo potential love interests on the reality dating series.  

According to reports, his farm is located in Kyabram, Victoria but it was said on the show that Farmer Harry owns a farm in Gloucester, NSW.

Farmer Harry. Image: Seven. Seven confirmed the farm Harry used was not his real property, in a statement to Daily Mail Australia, but made it clear the show was not intending to deceive viewers or his potential partners.

As it turns out, multiple farmers were using land that wasn't... theirs. Daily Mail also revealed that Victorian Farmer Will Simpson filmed his love story in NSW.... 1,000kms away from Berriwillock. 

According to the publication, it was due to COVID that some farms had to be switched.

The real reason Marty left Farmer Wants A Wife.

ICYMI, Farmer Marty quickly left the show after just one day with Farmer Paige. At the time, he put his departure down to "health concerns".

"Unfortunately, it doesn’t look like I’m gonna be able to make it back to the farm at the moment," he told Paige through a phone call at the time.

"You got a few good blokes there so I think you’ll be all right. Good luck with everything and hopefully one of those boys is the one."

However, according to the So Dramatic! Community Facebook group, one insider claimed they'd had a conversation with Marty, and said his side of the story was very different to the one that played out on television. 

"He didn’t hold back talking about the show," the viewer said, according to New Idea. "He said he wasn’t really into Paige, and nor were any of the other guys."

The insider went on to say Marty had gotten to a point where he "didn't want to be there anymore" and that producers "concocted a story to get him off the show".

An alleged affair is coming.

The Marty drama doesn't end there after the So Dramatic! insider claimed the contestant had a hookup with another farmer's girl. 

While we can neither confirm nor deny if the rumours are true, it's clear this season may not be so different from the last one.
