There are two types of people in this world: regular ones, and exceptional, crazy talented unicorn ones.
We humbly fall into the first category. Not that there’s anything wrong with that. But famous actors and actresses? Yeah, they’re in the second.
Impossibly beautiful, intelligent and talented, it seems unfair, nay, unjust that one person should possess so many advantageous qualities.
But you know what’s even more unfair? When all that goodness runs in the family. Hence, behold this list of equally famous celebrity siblings we did not know existed.
Now, we’re either behind the ball on this one, or about to blow your mind.
Kate and Rooney Mara
OK this one we 100 per cent did not know about. Yes, when you put their names together, it's obvious because, well, they have the same last name.
But both of these sisters are bloody succesful actresses in their own rights - Rooney in The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, Lion and The Social Network, and Kate most notably in House of Cards and American Horror Story.
Jessica and Penny McNamee
Both of the McNamee sisters have starred in the quintessential Australian acting right of passage show, Home and Away.
Big sister, Penny currently plays Tori on the long-running soap, while younger sister, Jessica has featured in Packed to the Rafters, The Vow with Rachel McAdams and Channing Tatum, and most recently, Battle of the Sexes as Margaret Court.
Oliver and Kate Hudson
Everyone knows Kate Hudson - classic rom-com actress turned el cheapo active wear designer and Pilates extraordinaire, yeah? But did you know her brother is Oliver Hudson, who plays eternal dickwad, Jeff Fordham in Nashville, and a string of other TV shows like Dawson's Creek, Scream Queens and Rules of Engagement?
Yep.
Demi Lovato and Madison De La Garza
Demi Lovato is the Disney star who grew up to be a body positive, kick arse singer. But how bloody cute is her half-sister, Madison De La Garza?!
If you're feeling like Madison looks familiar, your celeb radar is in good working order - she played Eva Longoria's daughter in Desperate Housewives.
Zooey and Emily Deschanel
These two = TV gods.
It's hard to decide who is more amazing out of Zooey's Jess from New Girl and Emily's Bones from.... Bones.
So let's just agree not to chose sides, OK?
Liev and Pablo Schreiber
Yes, the sight of the pornstache security guard, George Mendez from Orange Is the New Black gives you the shivers, but did you know his real-life self is the half-brother of fellow actor and Naomi Watts' ex-husband, Liev Schreiber?
Jason and Blake Lively
THIS ONE. Brace yourselves.
Everyone has watched the Griswolds in National Lampoon's European Vacation AND National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation too many times, right?
But turns out, the teenage son, Rusty was played by Jason Lively, the the older half-brother of none other than Blake Lively. Yes, THE Blake Lively.
You learn something every day.
Shirley Maclaine and Warren Beatty
Cuter siblings than Shirley Maclaine and Warren Beatty do not exist.
You might recognise Warren as the person who incorrectly read out La La Land as 2017 Oscars' Best Picture when it was in fact Moonlight, but he's also a Hollywood award-winning actor, director and producer.
His sister, Shirley Maclaine (born Beatty) is a screen legend too - she won an Oscar for her role in Terms of Endearment, and starred in classics like Steel Magnolias, Madame Sousatzka and Postcards from the Edge.
The Veronicas
JUST KIDDING. Obviously.

I *cannot believe* you felt you had to explain who Warren Beatty and Shirley Maclaine are.
