The Spill: Sunday's best entertainment and gossip news.

1. Everything we know about the rumoured rift between Channel Nine stars Erin Molan and Andrew Johns.

NRL Grand Final week might be approaching, but fans are turning their eyes to the tension that’s happening off-field, in Channel Nine’s commentary box.

Nine’s Friday night NRL commentator, Erin Molan, has supposedly had a falling out with former Newcastle Knights legend, Andrew Johns.

Molan and Johns were both part of Nine’s newly revamped commentary panel for 2019, after Molan’s hosting duties for the NRL Footy Show came to an end when the show was axed last October.

But midway through the season, Johns was replaced by former Melbourne Storm star Billy Slater.

And now, a report from The Daily Telegraph’s Phil Rothfield today claims to know why Johns was replaced.

The report alleges there was a personality clash between Molan and Johns, and Nine supposedly attempted to mange the feud by replacing Johns.

But Johns has since denied the report as nothing but “rumours and innuendo”.

Nine’s Director of Sport, Tom Malone also shut down rumours of a rift between the two commentators.

While the report has been dismissed as untrue, this isn’t the first time there’s been a rumour about Johns and Molan’s supposed feud.

Last year, Johns vanished from the NRL Footy Show after Molan replaced popular long-time host Paul ‘Fatty’ Vautin, which led some to believe there was tension between the pair.

2. “This is never going to work.” After their first show together, Jackie O tried to get Kyle Sandilands fired.

It's hard to name a more high-powered radio duo than Kyle Sandilands and Jackie O. Love them or hate them, they've been cracking inappropriate jokes on prime time radio slots together for almost 20 years.

But according to Jackie O's recollection of their first few nights hosting on-air, The Kyle and Jackie O Show came pretty close to not existing.

Speaking on Osher Gunsberg's podcast, Better Than Yesterday with Osher Günsberg, Jackie O said she first co-hosted alongside Kyle on the Hot30 Countdown back in 2000 after her former husband Ugly Phil left the show.

Kyle, who at the time was relatively unknown, didn't make a great first impression on Jackie O.

"He went on air and he said the 'F-word' as soon as he was on air in the opener. I didn't know he was going to do that, but he knew in his head he was going to do that to shock me," she told Osher on the podcast.

"He didn't know anything about pop music and when you do the Hot30 at night, it's all about the music... I was just like, 'This is never going to work.' He had hung up on Victoria Beckham twice because he didn't know how to operate the phones. I'm tearing my hair out thinking, 'How has this been allowed to happen?'"

At this point, Jackie O called her bosses desperate to get rid of Kyle, but he was given one last chance. She said she's grateful they did because "he came back the next night and was amazing and we just gelled and it clicked."

"I don't know what he went home and did, and I don't think he heard about the phone conversation, but I think he knew in his head, 'I'm not nailing this, I'm not delivering what I need to deliver.'"

Well, well, well. Who knew?

3. "I’ll find my way back to TV." Rove McManus’ next venture after his TV show was brutally axed after two episodes.

Earlier this month, Rove McManus found himself at the bottom of Channel 10's ratings list with his variety show Saturday Night Rove. So much so, the network axed the series after just two episodes.

In a new interview with Stellar, the 45-year-old said he sees himself returning to television at some stage, but for now, he's focusing on his illustrating career.

Yes, illustrating.

"TV has been as much a part of my life as drawing. So I’m sure I’ll find myself back there again, too," Rove told the publication.

"I’m not a natural performer, but I’ve always enjoyed the escapism of writing and animation."

The three-time Gold Logie winner has written and illustrated two children’s books inspired by his five-year-old daughter Ruby with wife Tasma Walton, Disgusting McGrossface and Rocky Lobstar.

4. ‘Take pride in all of that mess.’ Constance Hall’s empowering post to all the "not gonna conform” women.

Blogger Constance Hall who is considered by some to be the 'most hated woman in Australia' took to Instagram on Friday to share a raw and empowering message to all women.

Hall, a mum of seven, posted a candid photo of herself lying on a couch in a crop top and briefs, with her hair half up in a bun.

"How could she? Look like that? spell like that? talk so openly about her past and all the beds she’s slept or not slept in? Let her hair knot like that? raise her children like that? Let her house mess like that?" she began the post.

As a TV personality, Hall is no stranger to the judgement of others, particularity when it comes to her appearance.

"How could she? Take pride in all of that mess...When we trained them to be the opposite? We trained a controlled woman, a compliant woman, a woman who is happy to live her life small, hidden away," the post continued.

How could she? Look like that? spell like that? talk so openly about her past and all the beds she’s slept or not slept in? Let her hair knot like that? raise her children like that? Let her house mess like that? Share her opinions like that? How could she? Take pride in all of that mess. Love and be loved so openly.. when she has none of what we told them is Loveable? When we trained them to be the opposite? We trained a controlled woman, a compliant woman, a woman who is happy to live her life small, hidden away, a pretty woman who’s top priority is her perfectly smoothed out wavey locks. A woman who laughs at their humourless jokes and keeps their secrets quiet. And then she came. All woman. In your face, woman. “Fuck your entitlement” woman. Not gonna conform, woman. Loves who she is woman. Laugh loud enough for the whole restaurant to hear woman. And the worst part is, the part we will never admit? some of us are ever attracted to that disgusting bitch of a woman. How could she.. Con ????????????????
