It’s Emmys night – which means seeing the best of America’s TV stars on the red carpet at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles.
Who wins what is all much of a muchness really. We’re in this for the dresses.
(And even if you’re not so into the dresses, it’s just as worthwhile clicking through for the suits. Trust me.)
Take a look at what the stars are wearing as they walk the red carpet – we’ll keep updating this great gallery through the day. Early favourites for us are Ginnifer Goodwin and Heidi Klum.
After 64 years, this is the red carpet event that ages better than Clooney and the one night each year we ooh and ahh about what Hayden Panettiere is wearing and shamelessly comment on Heidi Klum‘s (extremely) high leg split.
This is the latest update from Celebuzz:
Host Jimmy Kimmel promises that it will be a night to remember for more than just the fashion. He’s planning to pull the biggest prank in Emmys history.
“I am gonna do something very weird during the show,” Kimmel told Entertainment Weekly. “I think it could possibly be the biggest prank ever pulled, as far as number of people involved.”
Don’t miss a beat on the red carpet – we will be updating our gallery throughout the day and tweeting live updates on who wore what. Follow @Mamamia for the latest.
Here’s a full list of the winners:
— Supporting Actor, Comedy Series: Eric Stonestreet, “Modern Family” (Cameron)

Ginnifer Goodwin was absolutely STUNNING! I've always loved her - really think she should have been nominated for her acting in Big Love which is one of my all time favourite tv shows! Somewhat of a hidden gem, but I highly recommend the DVDs - it's amazing!
Christine Baranski - sorry, but mutton dressed as lamb.
Christine Baranski - echoing a look I went for back sometime in the 80s... it's time to move on, darling.
