On hit television drama series Revenge, Daniel Grayson (played by Josh Bowman) met his untimely end after being shot and subsequently dying in the arms of ex-wife Emily Thorne aka Amanda Clarke (Emily VanCamp).
In real-life though, Bowman and VanCamp have a much happier ending. They are now married, and have two daughters together — two-year-old Iris and three-month-old Rio Rose.

Here's everything we know about the love story between the couple.
When did Emily VanCamp and Josh Bowman get together?
After meeting on the set of Revenge in 2011, the pair struck up a friendship which quickly blossomed into a romance.
Prior to dating each other, VanCamp and Bowman were already used to being in high-profile relationships. VanCamp dated Brothers & Sisters co-star Dave Annable and Everwood co-star Chris Pratt (yes, THAT Chris Pratt), while Bowman dated Revenge co-star Ashley Madekwe and singer Amy Winehouse (yes, THAT Amy Winehouse).
The couple were spotted kissing and canoodling frequently in 2012, and although they did not hide their growing affection for each other, they rarely discussed their private lives in interviews.
"We don't really talk about our relationship. The show becomes about your personal life if you talk about it too much," VanCamp told Hamptons magazine in April 2012.
In 2014, she reiterated to Elle Canada that they kept their personal and professional lives separate. "I barely talk about him in interviews, to be honest," she said. "It's just really funny in the moments when we're playing these absolutely absurd things. I call him 'wife-beater Daniel'. It's hard for my family to watch – it's also hard for them to see me in that light. But we're actors. None of that lives in any of us. Thank God!"
In December 2016, VanCamp joined Instagram, allowing a glimpse into her (and Bowman's) private life.
VanCamp and Bowman were married in 2018.
In May 2017, Bowman proposed to VanCamp while they were on a hike.
"He did good. It was in a forest. We were in nature on a hike kind of doing what we do, it was very, sort of, us. So yeah, it was great, beautiful," she told Entertainment Tonight about the proposal.
The following year, in December 2018, the happy couple tied the knot in the Bahamas. Many of their Revenge co-stars were also in attendance.
VanCamp posted several photos of the wedding weekend to her social media account. "Thank you to all of our friends and family who made their way to celebrate with us! We are eternally grateful," VanCamp wrote on Instagram.
VanCamp and Bowman welcomed their baby in 2021.
VanCamp had spoken previously about her desire to have children, telling Elle Canada in 2014 that she was surprised how excited she was to have children. "It never seemed tangible, but my sister just had a baby – beautiful little Ivy – and my sister Alison is having a baby boy. Suddenly, it's like that part of my life is real. I find myself dreaming about it all the time. In your late 20s, you start to realise you can't call yourself a baby anymore."
That same year, she said, "I'm really busy and I feel like I kind of want to be the kind of mum I want to be. With this schedule and playing this very tortured – exciting to play, but crazy character – I think I'll let that happen and I'll see where I'm at. They just make me so happy."
In August 2021, VanCamp revealed she and Bowman had a daughter together.
"Welcome to the world, our sweet little Iris," she wrote on Instagram. "Our hearts are full."
In May 2022, VanCamp posted a picture of herself holding little Iris on a beach to celebrate her first Mother's Day as a mum.
"You cracked this heart wide open from the moment I first held you sweet girl," she wrote. "Thanks for choosing me to be your Mama. And to my mum – thank you for all the love and the lessons. We love you! Happy Mother's Day to ALL the Mama’s out there! Today we celebrate you."
On April 15, 2024, VanCamp announced the arrival of the couple's second daughter, Rio Rose, on Instagram.
"✨Rio Rose ✨ 3-12-2024 Welcome to the world baby girl. We love you so much ❤️💕," the 37-year-old captioned a black-and-white close-up of her baby girl's hand.
After more than a decade together, it seems the love has not faded between the couple.
"Doing life with you is still my favorite thing," VanCamp wrote on Instagram in a tribute to Bowman. "Thank you for the magic you bring to our lives everyday. We are so lucky."
