I have a theory that there aren’t many surfaces you can’t vacuum. In the past I’ve vacuumed carpeted floors, tiled floors, floorboards, lino, the lounge, the kitchen table, my niece’s bed, inside my car and I once vacuumed my favourite black pants while I was still wearing them due to a talcum powder spill. Most of it came out!
My mum is much worse than me. She doesn’t believe in brooms. She vacuums her curtains, the skirting boards and even the outdoor courtyard.
It goes without saying that both my mum and I need the best vacuum cleaner on the market. So far we’ve done pretty well with finding ones that can do more than keep up with us. We discuss vacuum cleaners like other people discuss clothes. What colour is it? Where did you get it? Does it come in different sizes? Should I get it too?
Just as an FYI, you should know that this advertorial is sponsored by Electrolux Ergorapido.
The Electrolux Ergorapido two-in-one vacuum cleaner is all we need right now. It is a cordless vacuum cleaner so you can clean messes really quickly without having to coil and uncoil a cord and trip all over it. It is completely flexible and manoeuvrable with no assembly required. You don’t have to switch power points or anything. I’m almost ready to throw out not only my broom but my dustpan as well. Who needs those anymore? Plus, the Ergorapido is so cute, you’ll want to leave it out to make your home look even more stylish.
I have a bit of an obsession with coffee sugar. I like the sugar I use in my coffee and tea to be raw sugar or better still, the one that is made up of much larger granules. Tragically I spilled the most recent bag I purchased all over my kitchen floor and before my tears even dried, I was able to clean it all up, before leaving the house to buy more because there was no way I was going through the next morning without my beloved coffee made with fancy sugar. Life’s just too short!

My twin tub washing machine is my trick. My neighbour asked me one day. I have a big family and the best thing I ever did was kick the auto to the kerb.
I don't like to vacuum, in my view it's one of the most unbearable of life's little chores. So over the years I have figured out the very best way of getting it done......pay your kids to do it!
