1. She’s here! Sunrise’s Edwina Bartholomew and her husband Neil Varcoe have welcomed their first child.

In huge baby news, Sunrise presenter Edwina Bartholomew has given birth to her first child – reportedly a baby girl named Molly.

Giving birth a week after her due date, the journalist and her husband, Neil Varcoe welcomed their daughter at 8:05pm Wednesday night after a 36-hour labour.

“Late like her mum, tall like her dad and already an early riser,” the couple told The Daily Telegraph.

“We are exhausted, elated and very grateful for all the lovely messages of support over the last few weeks.”

The 36-year-old announced her pregnancy on Sunrise during a live cross in June, sharing the news with an unaware, David ‘Kochie’ Koch.

“The girls already know but Kochie, surprise. We’re having a baby,” she said.

The long-time presenter responded with excitement.

“Aww, that’s fantastic news,” he said. “Really exciting.”

Edwina has previously spoken about keeping the sex of her baby a secret, adding that while Neil wanted to know, she didn’t.

“It’s an interesting debate because Neil wants to find out and I don’t,” she said.

2. The Bachelor’s Carlin Sterritt has defended Angie Kent after commenters attacked her for feeling tired, because apparently that’s not allowed.

When Angie Kent dared to announce to the world that she was feeling tired, this fact did not go down well with some of her fans.

Recently after appearing on Studio 10, some viewers noticed the former Bachelorette came across as a bit flat and ‘looked tired’. Turns out she was looking tired because she was tired. Shock horror.

“Don’t be concerned, you are correct, I am exhausted,” she said in an Instagram story. “If you don’t know I have had quite the year, and haven’t had a day off in a while. You could say I’m tired! But not to worry, I’m OK, I’m just a zombie.

“Rest assured I am OK.

“I’m just not talking as much as usual because I’m learning and I’m exhausted.”

Some people then pointed out that she had just come from a working holiday in Vietnam and it made no sense for her to be tired? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Responding to these messages she made another post on her Instagram stories.

“Oh my days, if I have to respond to one more message saying, ‘Didn’t you just get back from Vietnam’ I think I’m gonna scream,” she wrote.

“Yes, I did. But that was also a work/holiday trip. I worked every day throughout. Nothing is free in life. Blessed for the work trip but I’m allowed to be tired y’all. ‘Tis the season to be… needing sleep for many.”

That’s when Carlin decided to add his two cents.

“My girl is one of THE hardest working people I know. I can’t imagine clocking the hours that she does and still function and put a smile on for y’all. Everyone’s work life looks different,” he wrote on his Instagram stories.

“Often up hours before I am and going to sleep at the same time as me. I want to honour this incredibly hard-working woman, she inspires me.”

Finally, Angie followed up with: “My little prince. Bless you. I know I don’t have to explain myself to anyone. But when you have a soul like mine and always want people to be happy it does get exhausting when people constantly question your life and truth, especially when I’m so honest and open about everything. No one knows what it’s like in a day of the life of anyone.

“So sometimes just enjoy having a laugh, even if it’s at me. As long as ya laughing!

“Not everything has to be analyzed. I get you have your opinions but sometimes it’s nice to just maybe chat about them with your mates. Not smash people you don’t know online to them personally?”

3. “Merry Christmas from us.” The Harry Potter cast just had a reunion and where was our invite?

MY HEART.

The cast of Harry Potter just had a miniature reunion and honestly, this is the best early Christmas present of all time.

Almost a decade on from the final film in the franchise, Emma Watson (Hermione Granger), Tom Felton (Draco Malfoy), Evanna Lynch (Luna Lovegood), Bonnie Wright (Ginny Weasley) and Matthew Lewis (Neville Longbottom) shared a photo together on Instagram.

"Seasons greetings from my school mates," Felton captioned the photo.

In November, Rupert Grint (Ron Weasley) added to the rumours when he recalled "sparks" between the pair on set.

"There was always something (between Watson and Felton)," Grint said. "There was a little bit of a spark".

"But we were kids. It was like any kind of playground romance," he added.

4. "Happy one year!" The Bachelor's Apollo and Love Island's Edyn Mackney have celebrated their anniversary.

It was a pretty clever move when you think about it. After having no luck on season one of Bachelor in Paradise, magician Apollo Jackson slid into the DMs of one of the few people who could relate: Love Island's Edyn Mackney.

And one year on, here we are.

The former reality TV stars clocked their anniversary on Instagram on Wednesday, after a night out celebrating.

"God damn, I love doing life with you Apollo," Mackney wrote.

"Happy one year! Bring on 2020, so many adventures ahead."

Speaking to WHO! back in January, the 23-year-old Gold Coast woman described precisely how it all began.

"We both did an interview on the same radio show," she said.

"Apollo messaged me to say he heard I did the same show and asked how my reality TV stint went, at the start it purely as friends and as we started to hang out more and more we just clicked."

5. A new seating plan and awkward silences: Mamamia recaps the royals' uncomfortable Christmas lunch.

The royals just had their Christmas lunch and considering the year they’ve had, we imagine it was as enjoyable as a root canal.

The family gathered at Buckingham Palace for tea and turkey and caught up on what each other had been up to over the past year, like trying (and failing) to distance themselves from a convicted paedophile in a train wreck interview, telling their mother to cut off their brother following said interview, and having their wedding planning overshadowed by this whole thing.

Joyous.

The royals arrived at Buckingham Palace in a procession of fancy black cars. Some – like Kate Middleton – waved at passersby and others – like Prince Andrew… did not.

What goes on inside is technically private, so there’s no official photographs or media. But, we believe we know how it went.
