The kids dress-up that's gone from the toy box to the bedroom

Does your daughter love Disney Princesses? Well, now mummy can get in on the fun too

If a steady diet of Disney movies gave you childhood dreams of becoming a princess, we have some very good news: your Kate Middleton moment has finally arrived. Only, instead of marrying a Prince and/or moving to England, your one-stop ticket to royalty consists of a frilly bra and undies. Too easy.

Now, the hard bit: deciding which royal you want to embody beneath your commoner clothing.

There's the cornflour blue Cinderella set, which we can only assume looks best when matched with a pair of glass slippers.

The Belle line is gold and ruffled like her signature ball gown, with a bronze rose as a finishing touch (guess that leaves the role of the gruff-but-heart-of-gold Beast to your significant other).

For all the Sleeping Beauties out there, the dusty pink Aurora-themed floral set will have you slumbering in style; and wannabe Rapunzels can get her look in lavender satin with demure bows. BYO floor-length hair.

So which one are you?

The sets, which are sold through the site's "Disney Fantasy Shop", sell for around $40 each - and apparently, people are actually buying them. It appears the Cinderella set is already sold out until April, which means there are a lot of women out there seeking their 'happily ever after'.

We just have a few questions about this. First of all, aren't the Disney princesses all about 14 years of age? And if so, do adult women really want to emulate young teens through their undie choices? It seems especially odd considering the target audience of the Disney princesses is young girls, who would probably be weirded out by the idea of their mum wearing Sleeping Beauty knickers.

Furthermore - is this something men are in to? Of course, we know there are big-time Disney enthusiasts out there who get married at Disneyland and dress their bridal party in costumes. But in general, is this a thing?

Oh, and in case you were wondering, there's no word yet on whether a Disney Prince collection is in the pipeline.

We can't figure out whether these are cool or creepy. Would you go there?
