You guys, white wedding dresses are so last year.
Glee star Dianna Agron got hitched over the weekend in Morocco to Mumford & Son’s banjo player Winston Marshall. There wasn’t a white frock in sight: Dianna went trés non-traditional in her blush-coloured, sequinned gown.
The high-necked Valentino gown was hot off the runway and would’ve set Agron back a cool $20,500. *Gulps*
The dress was hand-beaded with an all-over design of tiny bronze, gold, and silver sequins. Against the red Moroccan sand, Dianna and Winston could not have been more hip if they’d served up deconstructed coffees to guests.
She accessorised her unusual wedding dress with a crown made up of fine bejewelled stars – also Valentino.
While the dress was perfect, Winston’s headwear raised eyebrows. He wore a cream silk turban. (Cue online calls of ‘cultural appropriation’…)
He also dodged the formal black suit for a fancy embroidered blazer, simple white shirt, and black trousers. The best part about their outfits? They looked so damn comfortable.
The wedding was held at Morocco’s Beldi Country Club, where the traditional aisle was swapped out for red desert sand and the wedding car for a camel. Yes, A CAMEL.
Diana, 30, and Winston, 27, have been together since July 2015, and were engaged in Paris last Christmas.
The lead up to their wedding festivities has been all over Instagram for the past few days.
Gumboots, bikes, and dressing gowns? We don’t get it either. Party on, girl!
Live trendily ever after, you two.
