If the Spring Racing Season is Melbourne’s pinnacle fashion moment, then Derby Day may arguably stand as the city’s most fashionable day of the year.
Known to be the classiest day of the lot and sporting a strict black-and-white theme, Derby Day has seen some of Australia’s most well-known faces unite in the name of horse racing and good fashion.
Our stand-out looks so far today? We obviously cannot go past Rebecca Judd donning a classic, white Tony Maticevski number coupled with one of the more impressive crowns we’ve ever seen.
Our favourite Bachelorette Nikki Gogan jumped on the white train too in Scanlan Theodore and a very futuristic kind of fascinator.
And then, of course, there’s Kate Waterhouse: racing royalty in black Balmain.
Because we’d hate to beat around the bush for you, we’ve collated our favourite looks from Saturday’s festivities and put them all in the one place for you, so you can perve on all the looks yourself.

Anybody know who the girl in the straw hat with fish face selfie is? Not sure why she feels the need to pull that face?
So I see the Kim K vapid pout look has infested the bird cage. Funny how it only seems to manifest in people who are famous for no reason. All I know is that the only person I recognized was the Jokey that won last year. Probably one of the only people in the BC that had a real claim to fame. Plus, she did not display that annoying pout that most of the others had.
