A former The Voice contestant spills on why Delta Goodrem was fuming.

Tensions have been flaring between Delta Goodrem, 30 and Jessie J, 27 on The Voice Australia for weeks now.

It seems people are more interested in what’s going to happen between the judges next, than they are about the talent on the show.

And last night’s episode didn’t disappoint. With tension getting so heightened it caused The Voice coach, Goodrem to storm off set after having an argument with Jessie J.

We (obviously) want to know the details.

Kyle and JackieO (on KissFM) spoke to an Executive Producer from the show this morning to find out exactly what happened to cause Goodrem to storm off set of the reality TV show (was it 'staged', was it real?).

The Executive Producer said that, yes, it was a real storm off (despite all the rumours that the rift between the two is just for TV ratings). It had been a long day, they'd been doing 12 hours of filming, seeing countless auditions and ultimately Goodrem needed a break.

He went on to explain that both Goodrem and Jessie J are highly professional, but just have very different coaching styles. Goodrem prefers to coach through encouragement and Jessie J is much more about saying exactly what's on her mind. So the disagreement was real...

The show's EP told the radio hosts that Goodrem wasn't gone (off set) for very long and she came back saying it was all good. Downplaying the whole 'feud'.

But a previous The Voice contestant, Prinnie spoke to Weekend Today and said that the feud is genuine.

"It's the battle of the babes, isn't it?" she said on the TV show.

The 'battle' really started to flare up on Tuesday last week when Jessie J convinced one of the contestants to choose the Madden Brothers as their coaches. Goodrem didn't appreciate being 'thrown under'. The Australian singer turned to Jessie J and said, "I'm gonna kill you."

Prinnie spoke to Weekend Today about the incident and said, "The whole contoversy about Jessie telling him to go with the Maddens was crazy...I feel sorry for Delta but it's good to have someone who is willing to say what they think and throw it out there."

She then suggested that the tension might continue throughout the season - so we'll be tuning in to watch what may likely happen.

What do you think of the feisty judges? Who's side are you on?
