Get to know Dancing With The Stars Pia Miranda.

You might recognise Pia Miranda from a string of her acting gigs, like perhaps her breakout role in Looking for Alibrandi, she has swiftly become a part of Australian film and television history.  

It's actually been more than 10 years since Pia signed up to appear on series four of Australian Survivor - Champions V Contenders. Pia ventured away from home to live in the jungle for 50 days – during this time Pia was subjected to some of the most extreme challenges to finally be crowned the “Sole Survivor”.

Since then Pia has appeared on Would I Lie to You, The Cook Up, The Hundred with Andy Lee and was revealed as the loveable “Thong” on The Masked Singer. 

When asked what her biggest challenge to overcome, Pia let us in on a health condition she's hoping won't impact her chances. "I have mild scoliosis so sometimes my back can niggle but I do lots of yoga to strengthen it so hopefully I will be ok," said the actor.

Now she's joining the star-studded cast of Dancing With The Stars, with Declan Taylor, to prove she can once again be the last woman standing.
